John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States and served from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. Before he was a president, he was serviced in the military as the commander of the Motor Torpedo Boat PT-109 during World War ll. He then became the representitive of the Massachusett's 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of representitives. He then served in the U.S. Senate before running for presidency in 1960. He was the first and only Catholic president as well as the first Irish American president.
He was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. His killer was Lee Harvey Oswald who was charged with the crime but was shot and killed two days after by Jack Ruby before he went to court.
